“I created Girls Off Duty as a sanctuary where Black women can unapologetically take up space, breathe freely, and show up just as they are. This collective is about more than just events—it’s about building a community where we connect deeply, celebrate each other loudly, and live authentically without the pressure to shrink ourselves. “

Unplug ∙ Connect ∙ Empower
We host monthly events that take you off campus to unplug, try new things, and meet new women. Our goal is to create joyful, low-pressure spaces for Black women to rest, explore, and simply be—outside the classroom and beyond the grind.

“I didn’t realize how much I needed this space until I showed up. Every event feels like a breath of fresh air. I’ve made friends, tried new things, and actually started prioritizing rest.”
